Paolo Sartorio’s Bio

I fell in love with electronic music in the early ’90s — first with Technotronic, Afrika Bambaataa, and SNAP!, then with the Italo and Euro dance artists that shaped an entire generation. A huge part of my musical education also came from the radio, especially DJ Time on Radio Deejay with Albertino, Fargetta, Molella, and Prezioso. Those sounds didn’t just entertain me — they helped shape the way I hear and imagine music.

I started experimenting with production in the mid-90s and kept going until 2000. That same year, Brioches Edizioni Musicali released an EP with some of my tracks, which were also selected and broadcast in the Megamix on Radio Deejay — something that meant a lot to me at the time. After that, life took me elsewhere for a while, and I stopped producing for about a decade. Eventually, I found my way back to it. I’ve mostly learned on my own, taking inspiration from everything I grew up listening to.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to DJ in clubs, parties, and radio shows — experiences that taught me what truly works on a dancefloor and how people react to music. Today I create house and tech house in Ableton, trying to shape rhythms that feel energetic, positive, and a bit hypnotic. I don’t follow fixed routines; I produce when inspiration decides to show up. Music is my creative outlet — a way to disconnect and express myself freely.

Outside of music, I work in a creative and tech-driven field. I’m a lifelong nerd, a gamer, a movie fan, and someone who really loves to cook. My tracks face two brutally honest tests: my kids (who usually say “no”), and the car test, played way too loud. My goal isn’t perfection — it’s simply to keep learning, keep improving, and share this passion with anyone who might enjoy it.

In the last few years, some of my tracks and remixes have also been picked up and played by internationally recognized artists, including Robbie Rivera — something I’m genuinely grateful for, and that motivates me to keep going.

I’m always open to interest from labels, as well as collaborations or remix projects with artists who feel connected to my sound.
